Her best friend, Jesse Kulniki, joins Stevie. There’s not much to do on the island except read.  A map is found in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.  It’s a map that leads to Bat Cave and a search for hidden gold.  Stevie finds the gold.  Uncle Archie is revealed to be an imposter.  The reason for Uncle Archie’s disappearance is discovered.  The gold is used to help find Archie in Europe.  Diamond and Kulniki solve another mystery.

AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY

Linda Bailey is a Canadian author.  She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  Her ancestors homesteaded in the inter-lake area of Manitoba.  Even as a young child her interests were in reading mystery stories and in characters that solved crimes and caught robbers.   She attended the University of British Columbia where she took a creative writing course.  Because she liked to read mysteries herself she decided to write mystery novels.  Her stories deal with an exciting plot with many suspects, clues and twists.  Her heroine Stevie Diamond and co-detective Jesse Kulniki provide a colourful mystery adventure.
